Congratulations to Maxime Lamotte, whose presentation "Muon-Induced X-ray Emission (MIXE) at PSI: Technique and Applications for Cultural Heritage" was selected as Best Talk at the Gordon Research Seminar on Scientific Methods in Cultural Heritage Research (11 to 12 July 2026, Les Diablerets).
The presentation highlighted recent advances in the MIXE technique at PSI and its application to the non-destructive, depth-resolved elemental analysis of valuable cultural heritage objects. The award recognizes both the quality of the research and its effective communication to a broad scientific audience.
